Freakyyy Rides: Mobility Campaign Concept

Context

A mobility-led branding and guerrilla campaign concept exploring how urban public transport vehicles can serve as clean, community-integrated brand touchpoints. The project aimed to design a physical, moving asset that turns heads and creates street-level engagement.

Challenge

The challenge was designing a vehicle concept that serves as a community asset, establishing a sustainable, driver-first campaign showing how concept building and local execution work hand in hand.

Freakyyy’s Role

Freakyyy developed the vehicle concept, visual system and initial operating model, followed by a two-vehicle street test in Cambodia. The wider fleet was not completed, and the project remains a concept rather than a fully deployed transport service.

Work delivered

  • Concept Development: initiated the vehicle concept layout, focusing on driver-focused usability.
  • Vehicle Design: structured the structural specifications of the custom carriage.
  • Vehicle Wrap & Visual System: designed high-contrast yellow and black typography wrapping the entire exterior, with the signature sunglasses motif on the windshield and side profiles.
  • Solar-Support Concept: conceptualized solar-panel roof integrations to lower daily battery operating costs for drivers while testing carbon footprint reduction.
  • Commercial Brand-Exposure Model: mapped a sustainable participation model where local drivers could leverage branding exposure.
  • Two-Vehicle Street Test: deployed a two-vehicle pilot in Cambodia to test on-ground functionality and street-level visibility.
